FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES

Just Transition Fund 2019 Rapid Response Fund­ – accepting proposals immediately, continuing on a rolling basis until November 1, 2019. To apply: Contact Mandy Bridenhagen and send a brief, one-paragraph summary describing what you seek funding for and why. If invited to submit a proposal, we will send your organization a link to a short application form.

ARC POWER INITIATIVE RFP has been released, Application due April 10

HUD   – Round 3 YHDP NOFA:Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program is now available. Designed to address systemic responses to youth homelessness and significantly reduce the number of youth experiencing homelessness in up to 25 participating communities (8 of which will be rural). Deadline: Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 11:59:59 PM EDT 

202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly Grant Program – Application Deadline Aug. 28

USDA-RD will begin accepting the first round of applications for the Rural e-Connectivity Pilot Program (ReConnect Program) on April 23, 2019, through reconnect.usda.gov.

Deadlines are:

  • May 31, 2019, for grants;
  • June 21, 2019, for loan/grant combinations; and
  • July 12, 2019, for low-interest loans.

Applicants can request technical assistance from USDA by filling out the contact form at https://www.usda.gov/reconnect/contact-us

TRAINING

Tues., April 23, 1:00 pm ET – NWA Interactive Webinar: Avoiding Foreclosure  (HO006WT) faculty-led webinar training to help refresh your knowledge and skills in avoiding foreclosure. 90 Minutes – 1.5 hrs. Continuing Ed. $79 registration fee, log into your NTI Profile to register.

Thur. April 25 – WVHDF’s 2019 Green Building Training for Residential Housing.  At the Fund’s office in Charleston, WV.  Please use the Registration Form which is a fillable PDF  for each attendee. The registration fee is $100 per person.  Payment may be made in the form of cash, check, or money order, and is due with your registration form.  (No credit or debit cards.)
